Your garage door motor lifts the door. The accessories are what get the most out of it. Most of them are about everyday convenience: a remote for every car and a receiver that holds them all, a keypad by the door so nobody is stuck outside without a remote, and a back-up battery so the door still opens when the power is off. Safety beams are the exception, there to stop the door on anything in its path. Together they add up to the same thing: a garage that is easier to use without being easier to get into. We supply and code them, and can tell you what works with the motor you already have.
