Servicing keeps it running
Manufacturers recommend a service every six to twelve months, depending on how often the gate runs. We check the motor settings, test the safety beams and battery, and inspect the control board, gears, track and wheels. Keeping ants, rodents and other insects out of the motor housing and ensuring it remains properly sealed and dry prevents a lot of damage.
