1. Introduction and Acceptance

These Website Terms of Use ("these Terms") govern your ("the User's") access to and use of lockfront.co.za (the "Website"), including any subdomain or other deployment of it (for example, www.lockfront.co.za or staging.lockfront.co.za), operated by Lock Front Automation (Pty) Ltd, registration number 2021/401626/07 ("LockFront", "we", "us").

By accessing or using the Website, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website.

LockFront may amend these Terms at any time, without prior notice, by publishing an updated version on the Website. Continued use of the Website after any amendment constitutes acceptance of the amended Terms.

These Terms apply alongside, and should be read together with, our:

• Service Terms & Conditions, which govern any installation, repair or maintenance work you engage LockFront to carry out; and
• Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use and protect your personal information.

2. About LockFront and the Services Described on This Website

The Service Provider supplies, installs, repairs and maintains gate motors, garage doors, garage door motors, CCTV systems, electric fencing, intercoms, boom gates and related security automation products, primarily within its service area in Gauteng, South Africa.

Descriptions of products, services, service areas and pricing on the Website are provided for general information and marketing purposes only. They do not constitute an offer capable of acceptance and do not form part of any contract between the Service Provider and a customer.

Where the Service Provider provides services to estates, body corporates, managing agents, commercial properties or property developers under a separate service level agreement (SLA) or development agreement, that agreement (not these Website Terms) governs the scope, response times and other terms of that relationship. These Terms continue to apply to your general use of the Website itself.

3. Quotes and Enquiries Submitted via the Website

Submitting an enquiry, quote request or booking request through the Website does not create a binding order or contract; it is simply a request for the Service Provider to contact you, and provide the information, quote or deliver the service that you have requested.

A binding agreement for any installation, repair or maintenance work is only formed once you have accepted a written quotation and/or paid the required deposit, on the terms set out in our Service Terms & Conditions.

4. Website Content Disclaimer

While the Service Provider endeavours to keep information on the Website accurate and up to date, all content (including prices, product specifications, availability, service areas and response times) is provided as a guideline only and is subject to change without notice.

The Service Provider makes no warranties or representations, express or implied, as to the accuracy, completeness or currency of any information on the Website.

5. Limitation of Liability

The Service Provider accepts no liability whatsoever for any loss, whether direct, indirect or consequential, arising from your use of, or reliance on, the Website or any information contained on it. Use of the Website is entirely at your own risk.

The Service Provider does not endorse, and accepts no liability for, the content of any third-party website linked to or from the Website.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on the Website, including text, images, logos, graphics, layout and underlying code, is owned by or licensed to the Service Provider and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws, except as set out below.

Product names, logos, trademarks and images belonging to third-party equipment manufacturers referenced on the Website (including, for example, Centurion and ET) remain the property of those manufacturers. They are used on the Website with permission, and nothing in these Terms transfers any ownership of that intellectual property to LockFront.

You may view and print pages of the Website for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may not reproduce, republish, distribute, sell or commercially exploit any content from the Website without the Service Provider's prior written consent.

7. Acceptable Use

You may not use the Website in any way that damages, disables, overburdens or impairs it, or interferes with any other person's use of it, including by hacking, scraping, data mining, or attempting unauthorised access to any part of the Website or the Service Provider's systems.

You may not post or transmit via the Website any unlawful, defamatory, obscene or otherwise objectionable material.

The Service Provider may deny any user access to all or part of the Website, without notice, if it reasonably believes this section has been breached.

8. Privacy

Any personal information you submit via the Website (for example, through a contact or quote request form) is collected and used in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

9. Cookies and Third-Party Tracking

The Website uses Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, Meta (Facebook/Instagram) tracking and our CRM's tracking tools, and may share limited technical data with these third-party services, to help us understand how the Website is used, measure our marketing, and improve delivery of services to ("the User's").

10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. You consent to the jurisdiction of the South African courts in respect of any dispute arising from these Terms.

11. Notices

Legal notices and other legal documentation addressed to the Service Provider must be sent by registered post or delivered by hand to the address below, which the Service Provider chooses as its domicilium citandi et executandi (its address for legal notices):

A notice is deemed received: by hand, at the time of delivery; by registered post, 14 (fourteen) days after posting.

Notices and legal documents may also be delivered to LockFront by email, to legal@lockfront.co.za. They may not be sent by fax or SMS.

12. General

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between the Service Provider and the User regarding use of the Website, and take precedence over any disclaimer or notice attached to any communication or posting the Service Provider receives from a User. No variation of these Terms is effective unless in writing and signed by the Service Provider and the User (or their duly authorised representatives), except where the Service Provider amends these Terms as described in clause 1.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be severed and the remaining provisions will continue in full force.

The Service Provider's failure to enforce any provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that provision.

A certificate issued by an administrator of the Service Provider constitutes prima facie proof of any fact relating to the Website, including which version of these Terms governs a particular dispute and what content was published or functionality was available on the Website at a given point in time.
